ok, so the flight back wasn’t the magical experience of the trip out, but it landed and that’s a positive. and it wasn’t so bad to re-freak me out about flying again in general, so that’s also a positive. the fact that it was like we were driving on a gravel road with lots of pits was not positive, but what does one do, flying in the summer over both desert air and storms? at least we got in early. and let me tell you, i certainly didn’t drive here.
that’s me, 34000 feet somewhere about kansas, mid flight to phoenix. some people may not understand the hugeness of this trip – for some, air travel is routine, and i envy those people. for me, at least for the past 7 years, it has been something truly terrifying for me, and something i refused to do.

firstly – i can’t seem to get out of bed. so comfortable! so spacious! i feel like i moved out and i’ve got my own place – we have SO much room. i barely know the dogs are sleeping with us. secondly – the movers dropped something on the top of the long dresser (mine) and it’s effectively ruined. they don’t have another one in stock either (of course) so we’ll have to wait like 2 more months [...]
