• one costume down…

  and it wasn’t even one of mine! :p my basement is a certified disaster area.
  i should have everything i need to get some things done, and at least one of the things is a nice to have (moulin rouge) especially since all the other girls wear theirs on friday night, and that’s the toga party. so we’ll see if i even bother. but i’ve got the stuff to do it, let’s just see if i have time/motivation.

• dole whip

  so at disney world, my favorite of all the treats they sell there is called dole whip. it’s pinapple ice cream, for lack of a better way of explaining it, and it’s simply one of the most delicious things i’ve ever had. they only sell it there at adventureland, which at my advancing age is really the only reason i go in that section of the magic kingdom at all (that an the jungle cruise, i never get sick of [...]

• i can hardly believe it’s monday already

  it seems each weekend is shorter than the last. perhaps that’s just because i have so much to do
  worked on costume stuff this weekend – i’m mostly bringing ones i’ve worn to D*C before, with one exception. i just need to finish that one (and finding the shoes are proving to be a huge pain in the ass). i’ve just got a lot of little repairs and updates to do. i wanted to have some new stuff, [...]

  doesn’t matter where you live really, just as long as you can get to my house by november 3rd.
  halloween party. come one come all. just let me know if you’re interested so i can add you to zee list. our halloween party is an event usually not to be missed. at least we try to make it that way!

  3-day returns to Washington DC in 08!
  not that i minded HUGELY going up to philly, but it’s nice to see this fantastic event back in dc yay more money for breast cancer research, and more people to walk towards a cure.
