• boston, still cloth diapering, etc

  we went to boston this weekend to see family. it was nice to be home. some visits i go up and i don’t miss new england at all, and others? i wish i was back. this was one of those.

• knitting and bsg

  i had not been knitting very much at all since the last project i did in september – for some reason, i just didn’t feel like picking anything up. since at home i knit a lot while watching tv, i hadn’t really put anything in it’s place, i just wasn’t doing it anymore. about a month or two ago i remotivated and started going to knitting on sundays again, and picked up long forgotten projects and started new ones:

• wordpress

  i’m seriously thinking of moving my livejournal into wordpress. i’d still have it posted here, but it’d have that banner at the bottom referring people to wp for comments and such. i know that’s slightly annoying, but the front page of my blog is really my misty.org site, i just use LJ to do it. so i dunno. i should not be this conflicted about such a small thing, but really – keeping up with other content management systems is [...]

• indecisive

  so i’ve had an etsy store for a bit now, but not really done a whole lot with it. i’ve got stitch markers and mother’s bracelets (about to post more of both) and will be putting up some embroidery that i’ve done as soon as i’ve got a few examples of each. i originally called it ‘Misty & Alex’ but that doesn’t really have a great ring to it. so here i am, looking for opinions from the washed masses.

• observations on motherhood

  since last mother’s day i’ve seen and realized a lot about being a mother:
  -i no longer have to get my own toilet paper off the roll a good amount of the time. i have it gifted to me in segments of 15, 2, 3, and .23.
  -i will be able to ruin show my son star wars in the order that i want to.
  -dinner sometimes is not about how much one eats, but about how far it can be thrown.
