• almost ready for the big move

  and by ‘big move’ i mean to wordpress. i’ve actually already been ‘on’ it for almost 6 months, but have been too lazy to move my mail, pictures and back up my old host to move hosts to the house. the new site is ‘live’ and i’ve got my hosts files updated to point to it, and it posts to livejournal (which in turn displays via rss on misty.org).

  i can’t believe it’s nearly the christmas season already. i say nearly so as to specifically note that it is NOT YET CHRISTMAS. it really kills my spirit to see people rushing it — i’ve seen decorations up for weeks and holiday shit in stores for the same time. our neighbor even decorated their house this weekend. i love thanksgiving and i hate that people rush it out of the way to get to the ’shop and get’ part of [...]
