yes we got a lot of it. more coming tonight but oh so thankfully it will not be anything significant. in total we had over 35″ here over the two storms total. probably closer to 40 but i didn’t measure so i don’t want to make such grandiose claims. husband bought a snowblower prior to the storm – he’d wanted to do so for a while, and we’d been using our neighbors (and getting his driveway too as a payback to him plowing out the end – he’s a plow guy) but it broke. he got some grief – “why do you need one some years we get no snow?” – ha. they changed their tune

i got some knitting done too – i had been seeing a lot of cowls lately and i really wanted to make one. so i did:

it was a quick and fun knit, and i looove it. i’ve been knitting more as of late and really enjoying doing so. i need to find a way to balance all the crazy in my life – i’m working on it.
