  fair warning – this is alllll about knitting.

• where i was going to bitch completely about my braces

  now i will only bitch slightly. the adjustment?   yes we got a lot of it. more coming tonight but oh so thankfully it will not be anything significant. in total we had over 35″ here over the two storms total. probably closer to 40 but i didn’t measure so i don’t want to make such grandiose claims. husband bought a snowblower prior to the storm – he’d wanted to do so for a while, and we’d been using our neighbors (and getting his driveway too as a payback [...]

• knitting like a madwoman

  so ravelry, which i think i need to go to a 12 step program to address my addiction to, has an event during the olympics called the ‘ravelympics’ — basically they have ‘events’ where you can enter projects in, things like
  lace, works in progress, socks, etc. so since i have SO MUCH i want to get done and because i love to overcommit, i’ve entered 6 projects.
